Prince Char is the precursor to all my favorite book boyfriends. He’s responsible, but likes to have fun, he’s protective, but respects women, and even when he’s mean he calls himself out on it. When we first meet him, he seems like an unrealistic golden boy, but as the book continues we learn more about his faults. I love the way he treats Ella, even when he believes her to be someone else, and his letters to her are what I wish texting modern guys was like.
