Rune Ryker

What I loved about Rune was how real she was. At the beginning of the book I thought she might just be another powerful female badass bent on revenge. But she ended up being such a down to earth conflicted character who thought about how her need for vengeance impacted others. She also wasn't good at every physical thing right away just because she'd been trained as a spy. She still had things to learn such as sword fighting or drinking alcohol that she wasn't a natural at right away. I could totally relate to her throughout the book.
