Talyn Dynan

Talyn is one of my favorite female leads because of her journey through the series. We meet Talyn when she's in a really low place, having lost her fighting partner and best friend. She goes on a long journey to recover from that loss, and she has to take risks and work hard to find a new community to lift her up. That alone would make her an inspiring character. Through that journey she doesn't lose sight of her core morals, even when she easily could have to make her life easier. I also appreciate how she's willing to forgive people who show true remorse over their malicious actions or feelings, even those directed at her. Lastly, the character is written realistically in that she has periods of doubt in herself, and must rely on others to support her in those moments.
