Katsa

I waxed poetic on my review of Graceling about Katsa's strengths and weaknesses as a character, and how I felt she was written incredibly well. At the core of what I love about her is that she has all these incredible physical talents, and yet struggles with doubts about her emotional capacity to love, make friends, and generally fit into society. It's incredibly relatable for someone who has struggled with these ideas herself (not that I have any incredible physical talents). Additionally, she defies her uncle to try to use her abilities for righteous purposes, showing that she is courageous and moral.
